Jinan Diesel Engine Co., Ltd. (JDEC®) was formed in 1920, and is the only internal combustion engine manufacturing enterprise under CNPC® (China National Petroleum Corporation). Over the past 80 years, JDEC® has diversify from its core speciality in diesel engines & gensets to natural gas and biogas engines and gensets, which are sold all over the world including USA, Japan, Russia, Italy and many more countries.

JDEC® has established strong foundation and partnership formed with worldwide suppliers such as MIBA® Germany, AVL® Austria, Amot® England, Woodward® USA and many more while switches, controls and alternators used in JDEC engines and gensets are manufactured under license Siemens® Germany. JDEC has attained the highest production quality with certificates of BC, ISO9001, ISO4001, CE, HSE, CCS.

Due to the wide range of horsepower from 30kW to 2,400kW available, JDEC engines and gensets are in many applications, such as petroleum drilling rigs, marine powers, power stations, and locomotives to the military industry.
